42 year old male disabled stuck in between surgeries and unable to work. NO income NO insurance NO support and HOMELESS in Pa. Am in need of any and all support and help I can get.
DISABLED DUE TO ONGOING MEDICAL CONDITIONS !
     HOMELESS UNABLE TO WORK !
NO INCOME NO INSURANCE NO SUPPORT !
PLEASE HELP !

After breaking my jaw in Dec 2012 in 3 places and a botched surgery. I found myself stuck in a position where I had lost my job, my income, my insurance and 6 months later my home as well as all of my personal belongings. That was May 2013 when I took what I could carry and left Texas. I took what little bit of cash I had and took a bus to Jacksonville, Florida. That is when I found out through X-ray(Below) that my jaw was and is still broke in 2 places.

6 months after my initial fall and surgery. see where it is still broke in 2 places and how the one break is set half assed while the other break never was set to begin with.

February and April of 2014 I went through 2 surgeries to work on fixing my jaw but it is still broke in 2 places and just floating in place. I am living with constant daily pain and trying to move forward as well as keep a roof over my head at night, trying to get my medications and the surgeries necessary to reconstruct my now screwed up jaw with no means and it has all just become extremely overwhelming, frustrating and depressing to say the least.

While down in Florida I was told to apply for SSDI even though I was not under doctor's care and all I had was partial records from my accident and all . I was denied 4 months later and was still not under doctor's care still had no insurance. Was unable to appeal at that time.

I Have spoke with doctor's and attorneys and all tell me I have a lawsuit against the surgeon who initially operated on me in Texas but to file anything I have to get all the surgeries done and a final diagnosis from doctors. Texas statue limitations on Medical Malpractice is 2 years which means I have less then 4 months to get all of that done That is not going to happen.

I applied for food stamps and Med. Asst. when I got back home to Pa in May of this year and was granted 30 days emergency med. asst. to get a full medical assessment done. 20 days into the 30 I get a letter from welfare.

"They reviewed my case and found I did not need medical assistance ."

My jaw is broke in 2 places has been for almost 2 years but I don't need any kind of insurance or medical assistance. YEAH! OK!

They did not even give me the full 30 days. Well I had the assessment done and submitted it and now I have free legal service here filing an appeal for that. The assistance office is fighting that though trying to say I did not file my appeal in time but the attorneys did file it on time.

Here is what did my doctor had to say in her assessment  -

"Disabled due to ongoing chronic medical conditions with a need for life sustaining medications. Unable to work No strenuous lifting."

So here I am stuck between doctors, lawyers, SSDI, welfare and a hard place with no where to turn.

How can i be homeless and have internet and a blog etc.... as some have come to ask me

for those who are wondering and question me as some have. The only online access I have is through the local library here where there is free wifi and computers. When I lost everything last year the one thing I did take with me was my laptop. So yes I do have internet access when I can find a free wifi signal or I come to the library.

Update

sorry have not posted in last couple days my laptop is down it needs a new battery so I am using library computer but it only gives me a hour or two a day to do anything. Not having income I am not sure when I will b able to get back on track.

The beginning of it all

Dec 19, 2012
While hanging out with neighbor's and friends where I was living at in West Columbia Texas I took a nasty fall face first on the concrete drive landing square on my chin. In doing so I broke my jaw in 3 places twice on the right side of my face so bad that 2 inches or so of my jaw bone and 3 of my teeth were laying under my tongue and at the same time it broke high on the left side of my face. I was taken by ambulance to the local hospital Angleton \ Danbury med. center where they took the initial x-rays and gave me a tetunise shot. But they where unable to deal with my injuries so I was put back into a ambulance and taken a hour and half south to UTMB hospital in Galveston TX where I spent the next 3 days. On Dec 20th I went through surgery where they pulled 4 teeth reset my jaw (or so I thought) and wired my mouth shut. I went home Dec 22 with a follow up scheduled for 3 weeks later.
